Ode to Flowers: Buttercup

Enjoy a small reflection on one of this week’s featured flowers.

From Florigraphy: An illustrated Guide to the Victorian Language of Flowers, by Jessica Roux, 2020:

From The Complete Book of the Flower Fairies, by Cicely Mary Barker, 1996:

I highly recommend these books if you can get your hands on them! I found mine second-hand. They will change your perspective on flowers with their thoughtful poetry and insights.
