Rolling Plains Crochet Blanket Pattern, From My Book, The Art of Crochet Blankets

Hello, friend! Today I want to share another crochet pattern from my blanket design book, The Art of Crochet Blankets. Lately I have been getting some questions about the book, because the blankets are inspired by non-crochet artists. Yes, six artists are featured in the book, and their crafts range from digital art to cement tile, and more. I set the book up that way to show how the fusion of inspiration from non-crochet arts with our crochet craft can propel crochet forward and allow it to evolve.

Free Crochet Pattern: Sugarfrost Blanket (UK Terms)

Sugarfrost Blanket Hello, friend! It’s been a long while since my last post, because I took some time away from creating new work to focus on my family. The prolonged solitary time of the pandemic had some effects on my kiddoes, and I wanted to really pour my energy into making them whole. Now we are all in a much better place, and I am even designing again! 2020 VVCAL: Scheepjes Catona 10g Colour Pack Version

Hello, fellow 2020 VVCALer! I decided to create a separate post for each version of the blanket that I am posting each week, that way you can follow along with your particular project and have more details. All 5 pages aren’t quite finished at the time I published this post, but as I finish them, I will link them below. The purpose of this page is to supplement your normal VVCAL routine. So you will still look at the posts weekly to get your square color numbers and patterns, but when we get further along into joining and finishing up the squares, there are differences that are specific to each colorway. For this reason, I thought it would be beneficial to just have a place to look at only your blanket’s general information and photos. PS, affiliate links are marked with an asterisk. Purchasing through them will gain me a small commission at no extra cost to you. There are 5 versions, all in Scheepjes Yarns: Catona 10g Colour Pack (This post) Catona “Shy Violet” …
