Hello, lovely crafter! Today I am proud to announce that I have gathered nineteen of my blanket borders in one place and modified them so that they are written for any size blanket! This bundle of blanket borders is available as a convenient PDF, and I even included 2 PDFs, one with US Terms and one with UK Terms.
PDF Collection
You can find Border Collection: Volume 1 on Etsy and Ravelry, and both US and UK Terms PDFs are included in the purchase.

Why Make a Border Collection?
This collection comes after popular demand from folks asking me to create one place where all of my borders can be found. Every once in a while I would have someone ask me if there is a place to find all of my crochet borders in one spot. So I got thinking!

In case you didn’t know, I have designed over 100 full crochet blankets. My goal at first was to take all of those borders and make a few volumes of border collections, but when I started to look, I realized that I do repeat borders sometimes in my patterns, so I had to change my plans.

Techniques Included
There are many techniques which may be new to you or which you may already be familiar with.
Some of them are:
- Faux Pompom
- Bobble. Cluster, and Popcorn
- “Beginning” stitches (a great way to start a new round)
- Using a stitch formula for a border foundation round
- Deciding how many stitched to place on each side
- And much more!
You can find Border Collection: Volume 1 on Etsy and Ravelry, and both US and UK Terms PDFs are included in the purchase.

When I counted up all of the unique patterns, I counted 38 that were unique enough, meaning there aren’t a bunch of borders that are very similar. It felt natural then to create 2 volumes with 19 border patterns each. Perfect!

Then I set out on the long road of modifying the first round of every pattern to be US Terms single crochet and written with a formula of X stitches plus Y. Don’t worry if you aren’t familiar with this type of stitch formula! I explain how to use it in the beginning of the PDF.

19 Unique Border Patterns
Volume 1 has 19 unique border patterns, but they range from simple to intermediate. The borders have anywhere from 2 rounds to 19 rounds as well, so you can pick a narrow border or a wide border for your blanket.

I hope you enjoy this collection of crochet borders! It was a lot of work to choose and gather them together and then to modify them for this purpose. Have fun with them!
