Hello, gorgeous crafter! Today I want to share with you my latest crochet pattern. I was playing with mandalas a couple of months ago and decided to make them into a hexagon-style layout blanket. This piece would be great for a stash buster, or with a planned layout, but it is written for 2 Scheepjes Stone Washed and River Washed Colour Packs and some 50g balls as well. It is quite a large piece, but you will enjoy every stitch, especially the mandalas.
Happy crafting!

- Asterisks *are used for repeats that include small repeats: *5dc, [1ch, 1dc] 3 times in next ch, rep from * 3 times
- Round brackets ( ) are used when a string of stitches are worked into the same spot: (3tr, 3ch, 3tr) in next st

Tips and Notes
- Weave your ends after each time you cut the yarn to avoid having to do them all at the end.
- Please read the stitch guide for any abbreviations.
- To get a neater result, I do not “chain up” for the first sc of the round/row. Jump straight into the first sc.

Instructions
Motifs are constructed completely and then joined together one at a time as instructed. The border is then added to finish the piece.
Color Placement Notes
This blanket works fabulously with yarn color packs that have at least 58 x 10g balls that is anywhere from fingering weight to DK weight. Of course, you can use any number of colors that you prefer, especially if you are stash busting, and you can also use just a few colors, which I think would look absolutely fabulous.
I have not included a color layout because it would be very tedious for you to hunt down every color number for each section, on every motif. Crochet is meant to de-stress you, not re-stress you. There are 6 x 10g balls plus some of the contrast color full balls in every motif, so you can choose any 6 colors for your hexagon. If you are choosing to work from your stash, you can ignore the color notes which refer specifically to using the 10g balls that come in the suggested yarn packs, and just use your stash yarn.

Motif A – Fiesta Mandala Motif (Make 17)
Color Notes:
For 13 of the 17 Fiesta Mandala Motifs
Choose 6 x 10g balls (A-F) and 1 background color (BG) for each motif. Work the motif using this yarn color order: A, B, C, A, D, BG, E, BG, B, C, F. Once the motifs are finished, put the remnants from A-F to the side, as you will use them later on. Return the BG color ball to the BG color pile so that you can use it for the other motifs.
For 4 of the 17 Fiesta Mandala Motifs
Choose 5 x 10g balls (A-E) and 2 background colors (BG and BG2) for each motif. Work the motif using this yarn color order: A, B, C, A, D, BG, E, BG, B, C, BG2. Note that instead of working the final round in Yarn F, you will work it in the BG2 yarn you have chosen. This is so that you do not run out of yarn in the yarn packs. Once the motifs are finished, put the remnants from A-E to the side, as you will use them later on. Return the BG1 and BG2 color balls to the BG color pile so that you can use them for the other motifs.
