Gumdrop Garden Blanket FOs, Plus Tips to Finish More Pieces in Less Time!

Hello, gorgeous crafter! Today I have some downtime, and I wanted to show you what I have been working on to keep me busy during these long Fall evenings. My Gumball Blanket pattern has been a go-to for making multiple motifs in one sitting, and then joining them with a continuous granny stitch join as-you-go for the ultimate comfort make. Here is the pattern if you want to make this one too! Warning, the motifs are very addictive, but the good thing is that this blanket is very versatile. You can make any combination of the motifs given in the pattern, and you’ll have a different blanket every time. Gumdrop Garden Blanket Pattern You can find this pattern free, here on my website, and you can find the convenient PDF pattern on Etsy, Ravelry, and in my online shop.

Zendoodle Blanket Rectangle – Part 3

Hi, sweet crafter! As the 4-part Zendoodle Blanket series has come to a close, I have had messages regarding the rectangle POC inclusive rainbow version that I have been working up in Scheepjes Softfun and showing on my Instagram. So I decided to create a free pattern version for this rectangle Zendoodle as well! It is just as wide as the original Zendoodle, but extended upward to make a big rectangle. Here are links to the 4 parts of this free rectangle version: Part 1: Strip 1 Part 2: Strips 2 and 3 Part 3: Strips 4 and 5 (This post) Part 4: Strips 6-8 and Border Note: If you have previously purchased my Zendoodle Blanket on Etsy or Ravelry, I will send the updated PDF as soon as I am finished with it. Thank you! Good news: The update will include both PDFs for the Zendoodle Blanket and the Rectangle Version! Use this hashtag to keep all of the Zendoodle Blankets progress photos together, whether you make the Original or the Rectangle. #ZendoodleBlanket and #cypresstextiles Find this pattern in …

Well the recipient wanted a blanket for her daughter that would provoke happiness instantly just by looking at it. (Yes, this is a custom order! No I don’t do custom orders anymore! Slowly backing away now..) So after three palette proposals, and a few color swaps, we came up with the above spread. Actually when I look at it, it reminds me of a top secret project that I worked on with my good friend Carol Janik – The Hoosier Crocheter – Tester …
