My Blanket Stack

FO No. 5 of 19: Lacy Hexagon Blanket Blanket

Hello, gorgeous crafter! Today, I have yet another WIP to FO reveal for you. I am so determined to finish these blankets and telling you about it is keeping me accountable. As I complete each blanket, I will be updating the WIP entry In the WIP pile reveal post. There isn’t really any order that I am finishing these in either, so expect them to be fairly random! I tried to organize them in a way that made sense, but after all was said and done, it just made the most sense to go with my creative gut and finish whichever one I wanted to work on next.

So, here is my Lacy Hexagon Blanket, all finished! It’s so cozy and the colors are amazing.

You can find these patterns here in my Ravelry Shop or in my Etsy Shop.

I’ll be adding in FO pics and links to all of the WIP to FO blog posts on the WIP pile reveal post.

There are about 8 colorways of the old Our Tribe Scheepjes yarn that is now called “Unity” So I used my Geometric Lace Blanket strategies of laying out the colors.

More Progress Pics

I love these fast and easy motifs, and the JAYG is effortless! My favorite part about this motif is the subtle flower.

This is my favorite way to do hexagon blankets with multiple colorways. I just start joining them everywhere and let the blanket grow organically.

Here’s how I filled in the little triangle gaps at the zig-zag sides of the blanket. Fast and easy, yet the lacy look blends in.

It’s growing!

Finished Blanket Pics!

Eeeeeep! I just love this one! So much yummy lacy texture in the motifs. The color layout is gorgeous, and even more so in real life.

Here you can see the closeup of the picot edging that I added on.

Oof, this yarn is lovely and soft.

I’m using a type of flat braid join as you go. The join is textured and stately, but narrow and quick, and you don’t have to add an extra round – you just join the motifs right next to each other.

This blanket was super fun! Those golden motifs really give a pop of color.

Thank you for dropping in to see my latest FO – No. 5 of 19! Just 14 more to go lol… Hope you have a great week, and happy crafting!
