Hey, lovely! I have a fun crochet project to share with you today in anticipation of Valentine’s Day! This month, I am focusing on getting back to my creative roots, since the debut post of my Creative Clarity series is about falling back in love with your art. I have felt a little out of touch with my art lately as I was working on a huge design, the Scheepjes Colour Lab CAL, and now that that project is off the ground, I turned to my planned project list, but nothing was calling my name. Feeling super uninspired, I followed my own advice and reached back to the beginning of my creative journey to my Gumball Blanket design. It was the first blanket I ever designed! New Project: Colour Lab CAL Crochet Blanket in Whirl Yarn!

Hello, lovely crafter! Today I want to show you what I have been working on while everyone is busy with the Colour Lab CAL Part 1 and Part 2. First, I want to show off a few of the many, many WIPs that you can find in the Scheepjes International Facebook Group, and then I will reveal my project. And here’s a hint: it is made using the beloved Whirl yarn! If you’ve been hanging around my website lately, you have seen the Colour Lab CAL blanket that I made, below, probably a million times. But, there was a voice in my head a while back that said I just had to see it made in Whirl yarn! I just love the color-fade, and I know so many crafters love it, too. I Visited the Jimmy Beans Wool Headquarters!
